Parsons School of Design, also known as Parsons The New School for Design, is a private art and design college located in New York City. Founded in 1896 by American impressionist painter William Merritt Chase, it has been a pioneer in art and design education for over a century. Parsons became part of The New School in 1970, which has allowed for interdisciplinary studies across various fields.
